I'm an artist. Or was, since I've now turned to photography. However. Most of my work I would visualize in my head; then there was planning it, drawing it out, etc.

Sometimes, Sometimes I could have an idea but it would never bother to form into an action to execute, or I couldn't see it. And at that time there was nothing to do. A rampaging line of elephants coming at me would not make me paint anything.
I think anything creative is sort of the same; If it's not there she can't write it, nor can anyone else. I'd rather wait 20 years if that's what it takes for her to finish the story right, than to give us crap and expect us not to tell the difference now. There's a difference between a 5 year old's doodle and an artist's masterpiece - the right time, the ability to execute, and patience. If she doesn't have those then it's a waste of time to try to write it.

Welcome to the board, and it takes a brave soul to voice their discontent. There's other things you can join in on anytime to waste the time away.

I can second this opinion! I think everyone needs to let it go

I don't know about how Melanie thinks but I know that if people kept buggin me about something, I'd take even longer to finish it, let alone start it

Anyways, I just finished Spellbinder 1 and am looking forward to reading the second one

) Thanks for a great story Melanie! Who doesn't love a love story complete with real magic?!
